So I have to share this funny story with you all. Stephanie and I scheduled our first meeting over facetime, as they both live in California. I had just come home after wearing heels all day (a rare occurrence), and I just wanted to put my pajamas on. Instead, I knew Stephanie should only seeing me looking my best, but figured I could get away with wearing sweat pants. There I was, dressed to the nines from the waste up, and purple sweatpants and bulky socks below. But she would never know if I just angled the phone at me…well, she caught me when I went to show her my album designs and turned the phone downward. There they were- my purple sweatpants glaring through the phone camera at her. “Um…are you dressed really nicely from only the waist up?,” she asked. We were both laughing for a good 2-3 minutes and the rest is history.
This Delaware wedding was nothing short of perfection. The entire wedding party was composed of the most down to earth, fun-loving people. It was a bright sunny day that was just perfect for getting married. I just adored Stephanie’s vintage inspired bracelet and golden glittery flats. They added the perfect amount of POP to her beautiful gown. Purple is my all-time favorite color, so enough said- this wedding was like candy for my eyes.
Their reception took place at Northpointe Convention Center in Columbus. This venue is so bright and open. The grounds have a lot of beautiful backdrop options for photos. There is also a hotel on the property for those who want to provide close accommodations for guests. I was lucky enough to have Zak Kelly shooting with me this day. He is awesome, awesome, awesome. A true artist and I’m so lucky to call him a friend. I hope you enjoy these photos as much I enjoyed taking them! XO Jess
